Feltham 1-3 Bedfont Sports

.. whizzed up the M4 to catch this one - Bedfont Sp were technically far better than the 'home' side - another odd occasion when I expect the away side have less to travel than the home one for the game.

(would have been another example of this at Stag Meadow this lunchtime too.)

At 2-0 up in the 2nd half they started poncing about - lots of showboating especially up front - deservedly got pegged back by a thunderous free kick.

Had the wherewithal to to restore the lead soon after. Feltham were game but very limited from front to back.

Bedfont Sp No. 9 looked a bit classy for this level.

God back in plenty of time for the Royals. ;)

That was probably Coombsy (Jay Coombs) has played in the league for years, scoring bundles of goals for Staine Lammas, league top scorer two succesive seasons with 30+ quality player

... not sure if it was Coombes - though I think he got the first goal - I was a bit delayed by traffic M4/M25 jn  - so they'd sold out of progs too by the time I arrived - the lad who seemed particularly good on the ball and was full of tricks 'n flicks was quite a tall Eastern-Mediterranean-looking lad - can't remember what the Sports supporters were calling him (sorry) but don't think it was 'Coombesy'. :wtf:

... just looked him up on the Bedfont Sp site: the chap I'm on about is Saman Kanani.
