It'll be interesting to see what sort of team Jim puts out.....

The early start will influence the starting eleven.....as some lads wont be able to make the start......but 3 games in 6 days will sharpen em' up.....

 

I wonder if Brimsdown will come out kicking again..?

Danny has had a good run and it is not surprising that he wants to try for the bigger time. But we became predictable with Daniel up front last season and a number of clubs just put him to sleep. Look what happened when Peter Ulatowski came on board we started scoring again.

 

I've seen some of the players on display tonight at (6:45)! and I'm excited by the possibilities. Any club thinks we will be a push over this season will be disappointed.

Looks as though Danny Clarke will sign for Ilford......

Shame really......could understand him leaving because he wanted to play at a higher level but to Ilford.......!

In my opinion I believe that moving away from ETFC to another club in the ESL is a step downwards....

I do agree that it's a step down. However, unlike many other supporters, I am not too concerned. He didn't play that well last season. His work rate was down and he seemed out of sorts. Danny Alleyne and Dave Allen are bigger loses. Losing Alleyne doesn't surprise me. He was very upset at the Middlesex Senior Cup Final when he was not even brought on. I jeard him complaining about this fact and that Paul Turner was always being picked even though he didn't turn up for training.

Heard a small Rumour that Disco Dave may be playing against Bishops Stortford tomorrow night....

I heard the rumour too and agree it would boost our chances of the championship enormously!

 

But then I heard the rumour at the end of the season that the great David McDonald was going to join us and alas it didn't happen.

 

Why not try Brotherton up front paired with Ulatowski, shouldn't get in the way of the defence and there is nobody with more guts and determination when we need it.

So the rumour goes.....

"Dave returns from holiday on Monday and doesn't want to go back to Waltham Forest".

He wants back in, starting with the friendly against Stortford.

 

As for Bradley playing up front.......I think he could do a good job for us.....lets face it I would feel very sorry for all the opposition's defences...l !lol

I would prefer him in midfield though....just as Mr Invisible says......he has a knack of scoring goals with late runs into the box.

I couldn't agree more Dave Allen back would be a huge boost.

 

We should start a bring bring back Disco Campaign !! <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

 

I mean of course David Allen and not the Style of music from the seventies! <img src="/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />

 

Mind you why not bring that back too, it was far better than the so called "Dance" sh*t (I mean music) of todays youth

(TOG alert!)
