Norway Massacre

Recommended Posts

Not exactly my choice of words, Urchin, but I appreciate your irony

Big JR - I'm not being funny but if you didn't know what Breivik had done the bloke actually comes across as quite likeable doesn't he

He certainly seems very cool, calm and collected in court, though 'likeable', - well, I wouldn't go that far !

I see that the trial of Anders Breivik is entering its final stages with prosecutors having recommended today that he be sent to a secure hospital as opposed to prison, if the Court rule likewise next month it would mean that Breivik will avoid criminal responsibility for Norway's worst peacetime massacre. Yes but he would get locked up indefinitely as opposed to a maximum 21 years. Also, it would drive him nuts (Oh the irony) as he absolutely does not want to be declared insane.

I see that Utoya island in Norway hosts the first student camp this weekend since the terrible massacre just over four years ago, everyone's thoughts will be with the 69 people, mostly teenagers, who sadly lost their lives on 22 July 2011:

Not much you can really say about it, really.

I'm sure the people there will have the tragedy on their minds.
