Hanworth Villa at home (FA Cup Q3 draw)

"The song about the Muslims was sung for about two verses, I will not condone it. But It wasn't supposed to be derogatory in anyway."

Nonsense. Of course it is derogatory. How can anyone possibly argue that it isn't? Why else would the song be sung if it isn't meant to be derogatory?

Also, having a couple of black players in a team does not mean that every fan of the team is not racist.

So now every fan is a racist? It is getting worse as the day goes on...

For your information, as the word racist seems to have been lost somewhere along the line, please see below...

The word muslim, black, white, christian, english, indian, asian are not racsit words... Used in the wrong way, politically incorrect granted. Or if it was sung that we hated a certain group of people or even a characteristic of that group then yes...

"someone who believes that other races are not as good as their own and therefore treats them unfairly."

(Definition of racist noun from the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary & Thesaurus © Cambridge University Press)

Unfortunatly, there was no evidence that any of the fans believed themselfs to be better than muslims, or any other race for that matter.

Another flawed arguement.

All you've done is come on here and upset us even further... Come and see me tomorrow night if you wish, I'll be the 6ft 4in bald bloke wearing a grey UCLA hoodie, we can discuss the pictures together on my phone, one picture was pulled up for a foul (Danny Burnell), the rest were either players losing balance and falling over under pressure or challenging for a corner with your keeper!!!

Some bloody people have no idea, and yes I am p*ssed off!!!

I seem to recall a similar row from a couple of years ago regarding exactly what photos prove. Incidentally, it revolved around a photo featuring the very same Paul Coyne when he was at Windsor & Eton making a challenge for which he received a red card. I think we all agreed that a photo, as a split-second record, proved sweet fa.

Regarding the videos, unfortunatley I had only half the memory space available to me and I was careful as to what I recorded and what I kept. I wasn't going to waste my already limited space filming a bunch if drunk idiots, so if I've caught anything it will be in the background of an action video I'm afraid!

The video camera will not lie. Barging and charging at opposition fans isn't physically threatening?

Like Nathan said, it's all about taking responsibility for your own actions. If you can't drink and mix with opposition fans like human beings, then you have no place in this level of non-league football.

You've misunderstood my point. I didn't say that every fan was a racist. I said that having black players in a team does not mean that every fan is NOT a racist i.e. you can still have racist fans that follow a team despite that team having black players in it. I know that from experience. I have heard fans make racist comments towards opposition players despite the team they support having black players in it. I made no comment on how many racist fans Hanworth have; I was simply making a general point.

Anyway, I wasn't even at the match so I can't comment specifically on Hanworth fans. I have no idea what happened but the Muslim song clearly is intended to be derogatory about Muslims or it would not have been sung. Call it racism or another term but it's pointless to argue that there were no negative connotations to Muslims in that song. Does it make anyone who sung it racist? Debatable. But certainly the intention was to show that Slough have a high number of Muslims is a negative thing. Whether or not songs sung at a football match translate to a person's views outside of football matches is another debate.

God, you really are twisting people's words now, do us all a favour and jog on, let the talking be done on the pitch!!!

Management and Players, if you've read any of this, go out there, show them how football should be played like we know you can and stuff them for us!!!

Moron? Is there any need for name calling? Or shall I phone the police?

Not a non contact sport. lol. It is also not a sport in which you are supposed to allowed to go in studs up. Please see rules for further details.

The gesture was not allowed surely? As it has been said on this forum more than once, Bobby Dawson should be sacked for asking the fans to sing up?? So he should, by definition, at least have been sent off (and then sacked after the game?)

And my favorite... While trying to talk about the FOOTBALL match... "Stop going off topic we are talking about your fans". hahaha. Quality.

Studs up??? So does that mean slide tackles are outlawed??? Have you ever played football??? Every tackle is made with studs off the floor, it's just if there is any intent, and there wasn't any!!!

Coyne made one gesture to our fans in good spirit, not to encourage the derogatory chants!!!

No, you are nit picking and looking at photos that prove nothing, trying to justify with those photos the actions of your fans!!!

And by all means, call the police, I will accept my actions unlike some!!!

Hahaha. No need for that. Thanks for letting me know your exact height though and what you will be wearing tomorrow. I will be one of the 300 fans your terrified of if we sing anything in your direction. Ill see you in the club house after for a beer if you hang about and dont run home like on saturday...

No need for threats really or name calling? Friendly banter between two sets of fans??

Oh forgot. Slough Town FC don't do banter!!

You must be mistaken, I am not scared of your lot or anyone, if anything I stand there and laugh as I am glad I do not associate with people like that!!

And Banter??? We do banter, but not when people are frightened for their safety!!!

I do not threaten people either, I will stand and have a debate with anyone without malice!!!

OK well if we are talking about inaccuracies, your own camera man picked out a few pictures. Here are a few of the better tackes he decided to show...

The stamp!

Studs up, over the ball and a second flying in for good measure.

Good jump. Now lets hit the keeper!!

Studs up 3 foot in the air!!

http://www.flickr.co...57627779341127/ 5

One of Sloughs better challenges and again... Quite close to the ball...

Gesture to the hanworth fans after scoring…

The final whistle. Steward looks scared for his life. Oh and hold on… Are there a few asian lads in the crowd…

1 I fail to see a stamp there at all

2 was a definite foul and as you said could/should been a red

3 they are no where near your player

4 its a corner it always happens. everyone is competing for the ball.

5 Charlie after he has been sandwiched between your players, if anything foul on him.

6 again no where near the player

7 coyne gesturing to the slough fans. even if it was towards the hanworth fans i cannot see how it is in anyway offensive

It was that bad on Saturday that for the first time ever Lynn and I went down the other end and stood behind our keeper, which was a bit strange I have to say.

Anyway we stood with a very nice man who we found out later happened to be the chairman of Hamworth. We told him that we didnt like some of the things coming out of his suppoters mouths and that we didnt like the atmosphere either. I asked him why they didnt change ends and he said they dont, again a bit strange but there you are, so I hope that stands for Tuesday as well. We shall see on that one.

I told him that I wasnt sure I was going to the replay because of his fans bevaviour and he assured me that we would be fine, so I will be going not just because of what he said but because Slough is my football team and I will support them whatever.

As for the Chelsea comment that Hamworth supporters seem more upset about, as a Chelsea follower myself I was embarressed at some of the fans behaviour, its not wanted in Non League Football and trust me its not wanted at the Bridge either.

hi sue just to let you know we dont really have 2 ends at are ground and everyone stands to the sides thats why we dont change ends or are used to doing so
