Hanworth Villa at home (FA Cup Q3 draw)

To be honest,we had a similar situation like this a couple of years ago in the cup.

Double the away fans we thought would turn up did and some were a bit rowdy beforehand in the bar so a squad van was called and arrived just after kick off.We only have side stands at our ground so fans often stand together or close by and without a police presence there may of been trouble.Because the police were called because of threatening behaviour I don't believe we had to pay costs.

At most games now we have 3/4 community officers there as well as a few stewards

I didn't see any reason for the Slough fans to come into the covered area when it was already full! That to me is provocation and then you moan when we celebrate, surely the sensible thing to do would have been to stay wherever you were in the first half as we had clearly made sure all our supporters were in one confined area. I really don't understand why you suddenly took it upon yourselves to come into that area out of all the places you could have stood in the ground!...

Yes i have heard far worse chanting at numerous grounds, both league and non-league, and I don't think the chanting Saturday warranted the response it has had. But again thats my opinion and you are entitled to yours so we will have to agree to disagree.

So Pigeon, it's all our fault that you lot were shouting some incredibly offensive (and unprintable) things towards our goalkeeper in the first half? It's our fault that you felt the need to shoud goodness knows what from that loudspeaker? It's our fault for supporting our team that we dared to come to "your" end for the second half? Just who the hell do you think you are? It's our fault for all the chanting of "your're going home in an ambulance" and "you're just a town full of muslims", amongst all the other unprintable stuff that was chanted? If you really believe that, I think you need to sober up a bit more before posting on here again. The Hanworth Villa supporters need to take responsibility for their actions. A full and unconditional apology to Slough Town Football Club, our supporters and our goalkeeper wouldn't go amiss either I think.

Nathan you have missed the boat, i have been through all this in previous posts with previous posters. You are obviously not used to away support and you don't like it. And yet again you go back to drink *yawn* its all been said, its getting rather boring. Shut your bar if you dont want us to drink or go and spend your Saturday afternoon in the library with a few of your friends reading up on the definition of 'non-league' as you slough fans seem to be the pioneers of 'non-league' As for your apology, i personally have nothing to apologise for as (if you read previous posts before mouthing off) I was stood in the far left of the stand with some home supporters and there was nothing bitter going on where I was at all. Maybe you should take your apology idea up with the board officials on Tuesday night?? Anyway i've said my piece and expressed my opinion and you have all expressed yours. Good luck Tuesday and welcome to the Ranch in advance

Chris i believe kick off is 7.30pm as far as i could gather from our officials yesterday but the F.A should put the fixtures on their website in the morning.

See you all Tuesday

It's very easy to say "shut the bar" if you don't like behaving like an adult and actually take responsibility for your actions, but that would be rather unfair on the proper fans who can take their drink without be reduced to the behaviour if complete morons, no?

And regarding the apology, I didn't necessarily mean you personally, but as you appear to be the ambassador for Hanworth Villa here, it might have helped to build some bridges and help repair some of the damage, but you have now wasted that chance.

Pigeon, we are not used to away support??? Ok, so not very long ago we were a Conference and Ryman Premier Club, we've had Aldershot and Wycombe bring close to 1000 fans when we were at Wexham Park and never at any point did we witness want on yesterday, Millwall 1981 on a smaller scale anyone???

Hitchin and Chesham have visited Beaconsfield in recent years and brought the same amount of fans as you did but they did not resort to what went on yesterday....

I will always be fair and try to see both sides of the story but having witnessed what I did yesterday it made me feel incredibly nervous about attending the replay, are we all making it up??? Simple answer NO.

The behaviour of your fans should result in a hefty fine and possible expulsion from the FA Cup, there was no need for it....

It is Non League, not bloody Millwall v Chelsea...

When the second half kicked off, all the Slough support had taken up their usual positions under the covered end, assuming that the Hanworth fans would go up to the other end to support their team. Instead, they proceeded to barge us out of the way with aggressive tactics and shouting and divide the Slough support in the middle of the stand. We were forced into a corner and once Hanworth scored their second we were forced out of the covered end because we could not take any more.

Mark44 was pushed into me as a result of the Hanworth celebrations, and other 'fans' felt the need to barge their way through our support in order to celebrate.

When we celebrated our second, we maintained our position, no barging, just jumping up and down to celebrate.

When Wycombe (ie our greatest rivals) came to Beaconsfield they bought a few fans like Hanworth, which resulted in the two sides peacefully sharing the end half and half while throwing some banter backwards and forwards, like any other team with vocal support has. Other (no, most) teams prefer to support their team by going behind the goal they are attacking.

There is no way you can defend these so called fans and if you do you do not deserve to take your place in the stands.

I can only assume they are all too stupid to get jobs and therefore can no longer afford to go to Stamford Bridge.

Have read all the posts on this matter, and not being there cannot give any further view on what has been said.

But I will say this,I have personally been to Hanworth Villa on 3 occassions, beaten them twice, and can only state what a warm and friendly Club they are.Never once felt intimidated inside their ground,or Clubhouse by their vociferous Supporters. It does amaze me though, that if all the Slough supporters on here, felt so threatened by their Fans alledged Racist,Homophobic, and alledged violent attitude, why NO ONE in the ground, did not phone the Police on their Mobile and complain. Why was it not until 10 minutes after the Final Whistle that they arrived.Using the Homophobic 'The keeper takes it up the A*** ' as an example, must of heard that a thousand times over the years in Non League. As for racist comments 'Slough is full of Muslims'The census figures show that the vast majority of people are in fact Muslim.NOT ONE POSTER has alledged Assault, reason because there was none.As for being in the same end as the Home support, you failed as a Club to take relevant Stewarding precautions,if you wanted supporters segregated?Where you as posters also failed is your remarks about the Referee BIASED in Villa's favour. But your worst comment was about a C.C.L. Official Mr. Murrell, congratulating the Hanworth Team, would of been strange if he was congratulating Slough?

Go to the Replay, you will be given a great welcome for sure, you may even get to meet yours truly, just worth going for that alone.

We were expecting you .. we knew you were coming with 2 supporters coaches ..

Just a pointer for your information ... at non league grounds its normal for the two teams supporters to change ends ! so we expected your supporters to go down to the far end ! and in fact when the 2nd half started ..your players come out with hardly any of yours in the covered end ! in fact the Slough Supporters were all in there at the start of the second half ... then most come from the bar about 10 mins into the second half and proceeded to stand under the covered end, this is when the pushing and shoving started ! and the nastiness ....and intimidation ... none of this happen in the first half because most of our supporters were at the other end ! Why did you not move to the other end to spur your team on ?

Just an observation ?

You expected their supporters to go down the other end?So you made plans if they did not?

Yet more excuses and apologists for the Hanworth rabble.

A so-called "lack" of stewards is no excuse for drunken, threatening behaviour. The fact that there wad no assault I can only attribute to the good manners and common sense of the Slough fans. The fact that the police needed to be called at all should make you think that the behaviour of the Hanworth fans was unacceptable.

We've had opposition fans standing with us before with no trouble. Wycombe (our bitterest rivals!) springs to mind.

.As for racist comments 'Slough is full of Muslims'The census figures show that the vast majority of people are in fact Muslim.

Beware of experts such as Smudge. He has clearly never seen the census figures for anywhere, let alone Slough. That does not of course stop him setting himself up as an expert on the matter though, and waxing lyrical on a topic he knows nothing about.

The 2011 Census figures are not published yet, so the only figures he can have seen are the 2001 Census.

http://www.zen99662.zen.co.uk/id/resources/DemographicsSummary.pdf

Muslim 13%

Christian 53%

Perhaps I have been a little unfair to Smudge. He is obviously stupid enough to believe 13% is bigger than 53%, and was really posting in good faith.
