After the updates over the Xmas period,where has the Members Online feature gone.If it aint broke why fix it? Ian can you help?

The who's online is still in the same place - http://www.nonleague.co.uk/index.php?app=members&module=online&sort_order=desc

 

No features have been removed, the update was to fix a load of bugs.

 

I have a skin update still to complete.

Who is on line does NOT now appear at the bottom of a specific Forum page.

Indeed - looks like it got disabled yesterday, whilst we had some issues with loading.

I can see who is online on the main Combined Counties page, but not on each topic as you used to be able to. Also, you don't seem to be able to see who is in the chat room now. Finally, the pages seem to take longer to load now often hanging for a few seconds.

I am aware of those two items missing.

 

We have an issue with the menu system and I am hoping that will be fixed over the next 48 hours, then I can put those two items back Just reducing the load slightly until I have a fix.

Since I replaced the menu a few days ago, things seem a lot faster. I use Chrome though.

What does it say in the bar at the top?

 

it should show a bar if you are on IE.

 

IE sadly is a pain to work with and for this reason most sites advise against it, especially anything below IE9

I'll have to learn to live with it then, Ian.

 

'Er Indoors' insists on it for several of her 'sites'.

 

Would be good if you could chop and change between browsers, but I'm told it's not practicable.

It is very easy - you simply install a different browser and click on the link to launch it.
