President Bush

Claire. It should be known that the Librarian lives in this weird and wonderful utopia in his own mind. Some of his views, though commendable, are both highly unworkable, and on occasions, sadly laughable. He needs a dose of reality.

Burglars and muggers should not be shown love and understanding, for instance.

Ask him his views on countries' borders, where people should be allowed to live and immigration.

The rest of them will be waiting for morning lectures to finish (if they still bother going to lectures, that is) and will probably wonder down later if they can tear themselves away from the local Wetherspoons.

What's wrong with Wetherspoons?!

(felt I had to contribute to this thread, but I've lost track of what it's actually about.)

Did piss one geezer off though, twat!

Him - "Why are you carrying a flag of North Korea"

Me - "It's the only flag I've got"

Him - "But they are a mudering regine"

Me - "Yeah, thats why I like them"

Then he went!

I watched the news last night and i saw the devistation in Turkey, and then the protesters in London.

When terrorists are still capable to distroy people's lives, i still believe that we should fight for a right to live safely.

But Bush is coming into Britain saying that he wants to make the world a safer place and fight the war against terrorism.

Fair enough Mr President, but where was America, when London and the rest of britain, and even St.Albans were blown up by the IRA? They were Terrorist attacks were they not? The USA didn't want to know about this then, but only wanted to fight it once they were targeted.

Yes the world should fight for a safer place, but it won't be until the men and women who belive that they can destroy innocent people's lives by planting bombs just to try and get a point accross that they do not belive in world peace.

The protesters, i think (my opinion) are protesting aginst going to war in IRAQ and not about the war against terrorism. I belive that they believe the only reason war was started and finshed is to gain access to the oil fields, not about getting Sadam. I mean, all the intelligence in the FBI and important people like that still havn't caught him or that other one (bloke with the bushy beard - can't remember what he is called - sorry).

I think that these men, should be caught and have their boll@x cut off for thinking they can do this sort of thing.

Well said Claire, the march was against the war in Iraq, people do support the war on terror, myself included. Like I said before they try and claim the two are linked, they are not! And Bush's actions have made this world a more dangerous place.

As for the IRA well we all know which country was supplying most of the money for that anyway, same country that gave Saddam millions and trained Osama Bin Laden ..... any ideas?

Exactly EFMTFTV! I was going to say that the USA were giving money to this terrorist group! May not have been Bush, but it was America!
