I note that Hanwell Town went down 1-0 this afternoon at local rivals Uxbridge and are now in a precarious position in the table four points off a relegation berth back to the Spartan South Midlands League.

I see that Hanwell Town scraped a fortunate 2-2 draw against lowly Petersfield Town at Reynolds Field this afternoon although, having trailed 2-0 at the interval, they did somehow manage to come back with goals on 66 and 71 minutes albeit their first being a fortunate own goal.

A report from the proceedings at Reynolds Field on Saturday, it's a very sad state of affairs to read the following: 'In the first half Petersfield were in complete command against a poor looking home side and if they had gone in at half time four or five goals up there would have been no complaints':
