Seats at Enfield Town

Recommended Posts

For Saturday's FA Vase match, I took the opportunity to sit in the stand for the first time (alongside LgeChairman and his wife). I was disappointed that the combination of the low view and people standing in the way meant that, for large periods of the game, the goal at one end could not be sighted from several seats. I did mention this to a steward who moved some people on but, within a couple of minutes, others had taken their place and it was back to square one.

Enfield Town have always been blessed with a larger than average number of hard-working stewards for this level of football. It would be nice if just one of them hung around the stand area during the game to make sure that everyone in it received an unobstructed view of the match.

I did move seats to get a slightly better view but I'm sure there will be days when numbers of people in the stand will mean less freedom to move to another seat and then the problems will start.

Thanks for your comments. It is envisaged that there will be a 'no standing area' infront of the stands so that sight lines are not obstructed.

Comments are always welcome, and so are you. Come back on January 3 if PB are not playing.

Merry Christmas to all at Potters Bar Town.
