So who listened to it then, obviously I am referring to Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show yesterday evening which featured Hitchin Town, Milton Keynes Irish, Hertford Town and Oxhey Jets as well as features on the FA Cup First Round proper, Wet Pitches and Goalkeepers Scoring following Hitchin Town's Charlie Horlock netting on Saturday against Halesowen Town:

This week's other Non League Show with discussion on the FA Vase Second Round ties taking place this weekend:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8398340-10th-november-2023-fa-vase-rd-2-and-horden-cw?playlist_direction=forward

As the final teams come into the FA Vase we celebrate Round Two and @FAVaseFactfile Phil Annets offers insight and stats into the 64 ties.
One of the all-Step 6 ties features a Club only formed in 2017 but one that has already begun the climb up the pyramid and entered the Vase this year at this round due to last year’s progress to Round 4. It’s not often you speak to a Manager who has been the only one in the history of the Club, but Johnny Payne is just that plus an ex-player of the former Club in the village, and he's rightly proud of Horden Community Welfare and all involved
With the week’s news, it is Executive Editor at The Non League Paper, Jon Couch. FA Cup, FA Vase and much more besides featuring in this weekend’s Non League Paper.

Let's not forget Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this evening (Monday 13 November), the great man is thankfully in the hot seat however is currently tight lipped as to who and what will be featured on the show at 6.00pm. Saturday's FA Vase Second Round ties, involving local sides, are likely to be the main talking point with disappointingly just two SSML Club's, Biggleswade United and London Lions, making it through to the Third Round of the competition with the draw being made shortly:

So who had the distinct pleasure of listening to it then, it goes without saying that I am referring to Ollie Bayliss's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show yesterday evening which featured Biggleswade United, Hemel Hempstead Town and Welwyn Garden City as well as interesting features on the FA Vase Second Round ties from Saturday involving local Club's, Penalty Drama including that in the thrilling Real Bedford v Biggleswade United FA Vase tie and Late Goals. Ollie has done it again and it's incredible isn't it how his show was 'criminally' taken off air by the clueless BBC at the end of last season who were forced to make an embarrassing u turn, bringing the show back at the beginning of this season albeit just for one hour on a Monday evening rather than two hours on a prime time Saturday lunchtime:

We talk FA Trophy this week, Second Round action with 40 ties. We talk to two sides involved and focus on Club's with joint Managers as the season begins to hit super busy.
First up, Anthony Johnson, now joint Manager at Radcliffe has had an amazing start to the season in the Northern Premier League which he admits is the focus for him and Bernard Morley, but who’d turn down an FA Trophy run with a trip to National North Farsley Celtic this weekend, between them and Round Three.
Enjoying home advantage in his FA Trophy tie is Jamie McClurg, joint manager at Bracknell Town. After reaching the FA Cup First Round already this year, they face fellow FA Cup first rounders Horsham in a Step 3 battle that he says he, his fellow manager Carl Withers and his squad are looking forward to with the side in a rich vein of form.

The latest, and shorter than normal, Podcast aII about footbaII in Bedfordshire obviously touching on Real Bedford and their amazing progress under inspirational Chairman Peter McCormack and boss Rob Sinclair who could well go all the way in Management following his successful playing career with the likes of Stevenage and Forest Green Rovers. Elton John and Graham Taylor's amazing achievements at local Club Watford spring to mind when that very similar 'hand in glove' Chairman/Manager pairing took the Hornets from the old Division Four to the Division One during the 1970's:

This week's slightly shorter other Non League Show:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8405832-24th-november-2023-kidderminster-harriers-the-season-unfolds?playlist_direction=forward

Some techie gremlins means a late release and shorter show but plenty to delight, entertain and inform.
First up Russ Penn, Manager at Kidderminster Harriers, from Play-Off winners last term to rock bottom of the National League this but there’s still hope and still expectation that the small margins can be pushed in the right direction at Aggborough.
Matt Badcock is back with his insight into the week’s news and previews of the content for this weekend’s Non League paper.

This week's other Non League Show:

https://audioboom.com/posts/8413159-08th-december-2023-fa-cup-2r-alfreton-town-fa-trophy-3-chorley?playlist_direction=forward

A double hit of FA Cup competitions this week. With great non-league success in the FA Cup, we talk to a Manager who faces a trip to league opposition in a replay on Tuesday with a Third Round spot, the prize. Billy Heath’s Alfreton Town drew 0-0 this week with Walsall but know they have all the opportunity to become heroes and make the Third Round for the first time in the Club’s history.
Next, we talk FA Trophy with a man perhaps known best as a manager on memorable FA Cup runs but who now operates as Chairman, in the Club he’s spent most of his life at. Jamie Vermigglio is clearly enjoying his new role, among familiar surroundings with familiar faces at Chorley but admits every day is a learning day.
Editor at Large at The Non League Paper, Matt Badcock, rounds up the show with the week’s news and a preview of this weekend’s Non League Paper.
