Premier Division
Leighton Town 3 Biggleswade United 1

Another good win for Leighton Town yesterday although they didn't have it all their own way and, after leading at the interval, Biggleswade United equalised from the penalty spot on 54 minutes, the visitors threatened to go ahead before Leighton Town re-took the lead on 70 minutes through a great Ben Pattie strike from 30 yards out having only entered the fray five minutes earlier. Disappointingly substitute Ross Adams was given his marching orders for Leighton Town with ten minutes remaining which could well have cost his side dear however they stood firm and Danny Webb made it 3-1 with seconds remaining:

A very hard fought win for Tring Athletic at Newport Pagnall, a fiesty affair to say the least, two 2nd half goals, a Max Mitchell twice taken penalty and a 30 yard rocket from Michael Toner.  this after NP had a player and the manager sent off before half time !!  a tough game which lacked a bit of quality football

Elmo - Yes, I was reading the match report from Willen Road, it's real football isn't it, give me that any day to the Premiership particularly as VAR has totally ruined the beautiful game. I see Tommy Fletcher had a blinder yesterday for Tring Athletic, he's a great player:

Premier Division
Harpenden Town 3 Eynesbury Rovers 1

I see that Eynesbury Rovers took an early lead at Rothamstead Park yesterday but were pegged back on 38 minutes, then right on half time Harpenden Town were awarded a spot kick. Despite Eynesbury Rovers being the better side for most of the second period Harpenden Town extended their lead on 72 minutes through Kieran Turner who was then shown red ten minutes later for a reckless challenge:

Ash Hunt back on the goal trail which can only be a good thing for Hillingdon Borough FC.

Wallop!

Always a sign of a good team when you bounce straight back with a win after a rare defeat and not letting a defeat start a run of bad form.

Savagebee - Yes, still only one league defeat all term for St Panteleimon, they will clearly be playing in the Premier Division next season, I assume they can continue groundsharing at Berkeley Fields:

Savagebee - Yes, that's right, it was a good win and Phil Granville has hit the ground sprinting at Haywood Way hasn't he:

Another match report from Saturday, I expect Craig Bicknell and Craig Meyrick were throwing tea cups around the dressing room at The Brache like it was going out of fashion:
