Scott Davies and Josh Jackman

Retained for next season and also Captain and Vice Captain.

An excellent start to the retained list IMO. Scott did a fantastic job last year and IMO had his best season for the Rebels so far.

Josh is IMO one of the best full backs in the league and for him to commit to Slough as a senior player now is also great.

Looking forward to more later.....

I for one was concerned about our chances of keeping hold of Josh so delighted with that. As said he is without question one of the best fullbacks in the league.

If we are to have a mostly young squad what better role model than Scott Davies to lead the team.

Agree, but to survive in the NLS we need mostly an experienced squad sprinkled with youth.

2 players who’d be in my starting 11 so a good start. Just been announced that Pruti and Dandy have also ‘committed’ looks like we may be drip fed a couple of players at a time through the day instead of one announcement. I wonder if ‘committed’ means giving their word or if they’ve signed contracts as league forms aren’t out yet (although are useless as any player can still leave within a week).

Clubs with good PR mostly always drip feed, it's adds to the uncontrollable excitement  ?

I'd expect it'll be the same as last season where only certain players were on a contract the rest will have committed until registration forms are available.
