A £2 programme at Chalk Lane tomorrow evening seems a little on the pricey side with entry at £8:

Shefford Town & Campton's first ever game at Step 5 level and Hoddesdon Town's return to the SSML fold after four seasons away in the Essex Senior League, what an occasion:

Excellent result for Levy, Risborough had a lot of money on the pitch.
Baldock apparently should’ve been out of sight at half time and then totally collapsed.

London Colney goalkeeper Norbert Kesse-Adu was unceremoniously dismissed last night, was it the right decision, The Cold End was in attendance:

A groundhopper from another Forum was present:

Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division
Aylesbury Vale Dynamos 3-2 Baldock Town
Attendance 106
Admission £6 - They don't Issuu printed programmes
Superb second half comeback from the hosts who looked dead and buried after falling 0-2 down in the first 15 minutes with both goals coming from the lively Lawrence Ajong. Game turned early in the second half with a cracking 25 yard strike into the top corner from Chris Stapleton, who five minutes later levelled the scores stabbing home a loose ball from a corner. The winner 15 minutes from time appears to have been credited to Jake Baldwin rather than an own goal but not sure his effort was on target before it took a wicked deflection off the visiting defender to divert the ball past the keeper who was diving the wrong way.
Liked the ground more than expected, it has a ramshackle stand with two sections, one with five rows of red seats, the other just two with standing room behind. Only other cover is a standing area behind the near goal decorated with a black club nameboard sign. Fields behind the fence on three sides with another pitch behind the covered end which I'd imagine could be used by a team in the Aylesbury & District League (expect Kingsmere will know). Ground is at the back of a housing estate with only a cul-de-sac (Haywood Way, one of the club's many former names) as access road which presumably makes it unsuitable for a home to Aylesbury United with their bigger crowds although they could extend the ground into the aforementioned fields. The road turning right out of the ground was closed after the game as was the A41 to Bicester so had to divert via the A418 towards Thame.
