New loan - Christie Ward

New one month loan Christie Ward a 20 year old midfielder from Wycombe….. he had a three month loan with Hungerford last season, played 15 matches for them when they picked up 19 points (probably Hungerford’s best period of last season).

Not sure what the situation is with our recent loan players.

Firstly we've got Dawid Hamiga on loan from Watford until the 13 February but hasn't stepped foot on the pitch yet.

We had a new player Daniel Idiakhoa appear on the team sheet as a substitute against Yeovil and has now disappeared from our player list.

And now we've got midfielder Christie Ward on loan from Wycombe Wanderers until the end of this month.

Connor on comms Tuesday night said Daniel Idiakhoa is on dual reg with Hitchin. I believe he came on pre season against Charlton and looked a good player in midfield.

A shame to see he’s left us to join Banbury United. I guess his lack of game time has forced Wycombe to make this decision. Will this now leave us short at a time when we need the biggest possible squad or are we looking to sign a replacement?

I make it 15 available senior players left in the squad which includes 1 loan player.

Obviously we won't give up until it's mathematically impossible but with our play-off chances now very slim I doubt very much we will be bringing in any more signings so no doubt planning for next season has already begun.
