Maidenhead pulling off their annual great escape beat Hartlepool 3-1 tonight

Wealdstone beaten 1-2 tonight still in big trouble!

It's very hard to see Dartford escaping now. They're on 43 points and have only 2 games left. The teams they need to catch (Eastbourne Borough and Truro) have 44 points from 42 games and 47 from 40 respectively. Even Taunton are only 1 point behind them but with 3 games in hand.

They travel to Yeovil on Saturday, before playing Truro at home on the final day. Even winning both will probably not be enough.

I would never have thought at the beginning of the season that we would have seen Dartford, Havant & Eastbourne in or around the relegation zone with a handful of games remaining (Dover I recall were joint relegation favourites with us!).

It’s not an easy task to get back up either, look at those relegated last season, we won’t be seeing the return of Dulwich, Hungerford or Cheshunt & Concord have been relegated again.

Kettering Town (relegated last year from National League North) have really struggled this season in the Southern Premier Central. They've recently had a run of 5 straight wins and are now safe, but until then they were right in the relegation mire and contemplating successive relegations.
