Non League Paper

Recommended Posts

Anybody read the NLP today, or should I say the Victor Gladwish Times. I have always found the paper to be an excellent read during the last three years but it seems to be missing the point nowadays.

It used to contain a wealth of non league footballing stories, match reports, football news, etc. Today's paper had quite a few pages devoted to VG and a whole page of scantily clad women. Not that I mind, but can we have the footballing stories back? Please!

There must be a whole host of football being left out. What happened to next Saturday's Essex League fixtures? <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

My dad phoned them up a while ago to complain when they kept leaving TOWN off our name and also about the accessive coverage of afc wimbledon and was told that they gave them so much coverage because they were the only ones who boosted sales.

personaly i am cosidering canceling my order as i couldn`t care less about the team that they say inspired US over a year before they were thought off.

I had some email correspondance with Victor Gladwish to see what he could do for our club and what the deal was.

I could not get a straight answer out of the bloke.

I admire AFC Dons but come on, enough is enough.

Also it's sad about Telford, but we have all been there so why should they be allowed to go cap in hand to other clubs. If their situation is that grave, they should do what we have done and go back to playing in their county league.
