Never been there myself but it`s near Colchester, if going by car have a look at AA route planner

It's not far from Braintree and the ground is quite well signposted.

Think Halstead play in the Ridgeons League Premier Division.

Boys, it is piece of p1ss to get to, travel as if you were going to watch Braintree play but when you reach the Braintree McDonalds keep going up the A120 you will reach another roundabout instead of turning right, you carry on straight as right, takes you to Colchester, straight on direction of Sudbury, you will then come to another roundabout you want to go right, keep going till you reach Halstead, the ground is off on a road to the left, well sign posted, if you hit the town centre you have gone too far.

 

Braintree to Halstead 6 miles, suggest you come via Braintree. If you go to Colchester you will be going round the houses. They do play in Ridgeons Premier had a good season last year come about 8th.
