It's all down to time management....plan your afternoon !!

 

I have a couple of sausage rolls before I leave home at 12....then 6 or 7 pints of Strongbow and a packet of peanuts....that keeps me going until the Indian meal in the evening !!

 

Saturdays.....Beer ( or Cider !) and sport ! as it was in the begining, and shall be ( hopefully ) for evermore....amen.

Well i recently discovered beef abnd onion crisps go down well with cider. And all because thats what i got when i asked for a packet of bbq crisps in the plough.

I'm amazed nobody has mentioned the grub at Canvey.

 

I enjoyed the burger with onions and burger source and thought that it was very good value for £2.

 

Cup of tea looked a bit ropey despite the 'bargain' 50p price.

 

In comparison, our burger bar could learn a bit about value from the example led by Canvey.

I think the Essex girls at the Canvey burger bar were a bit confused with the Kent currency.I brought a burger,hot dog,tea,coffee and two cokes and after a lot of working out, they only charged me £4.20!Nice result!

Canvey burgers are second only to the ones at Steveange - top burgers!

The Fleet used to have nice "American Style" Cream Soda cans for 50p. They were slightly bigger than normal cans too. They were great!

 

I also took my own food too. Mainly because I can't be bothered with the queues. Annoying things.
