Survival Courses

Recommended Posts

There used to be a mistaken view that if you put prospective managers through tough muddy cold survival courses on the moors etc you could choose the most likely prospective high flyers

Wrong? and I suggest an entirely new concept in choosing high flyers who will survive and suggest the following group form a brain storming session to outline the tactics

Tony Bliar

Beckham

The lead scriptwriter for eastenders

a 2.5m pounds a year marathon runner

Hesky

Prescott

Mandelson

Any other suggestions where performance is overcome by survival tactics

Don't knock the Social Workers !

Knock the authorities that provide their salary, (or should that be pittance ??)

The majority of 'em have their clients interest at heart, but lack resources and have to work very long hours for very little reward.

Project (social) workers in the private sector receive far more training and support that their counter-parts in the public sector !

No change there, then !

Not one for picking a verbal invis but Tone is not right or left wing of any party

He is 100% Tone and what ever he decides is best for Tone is the policy for the day

Lets remember he has at one time or another taken "personal" interest in improving the situation with regards to "crime figures" "The NHS"

"eDUCATION eDUCATION eDUCATION" The Euro debate (there is no debate we ain!t aving it) Banning hunting with dogs (he still lets her out minus a lead)

There are various other areas of failure in which Tone has expressed special interest not least his comment circa 9 years ago that senior citizens would share in the countries wealth

Tone is for Tone

I thought the wealth of silence that Big Tone received at the T.U.C. Conference in Brighton yesterday was fantastic !

He definitely looked very worried, but then again, why should he care ? I reckon he's going to stand down before the end of this Government's term, and make millions writing a book and doing 'After-Dinner' speaking !!

The trouble for all politicians is that you have to get elected.

How do you get elected? By appealing to as many people as possible.

How do you appeal to people? By promosing them what they want.

How do you deliver? You can't. It is impossible because you cannot please all the people of all the time.

I am not a big fan of Tone but he is no different to any other politician they just simply cannot deliver.
