All these postings are getting absolutely stupid and have no bearing on the Essex Senior League - this Forum has totally lost touch with reality , in fact, why doesn't everyone connected with Enfield Town ( no offence meant ) go onto their own site and let this one die gracefully unless the Chairman will come back and kick start the thing - though frankly he's probably got more sense than to read this drivel.

I tend to agree that postings only applicable to ETC, or jibes and friendly (I presume!)insults between ETFC supporters, would be more appropriate on the Not The ETFC Forum. They're not really very interesting to other people.

 

There's nothing to stop people from other clubs coming onto it as well, in fact they are most welcome.

I'm a Town fan and I agree that half of the posts here are tripe. Posts generally start out sensible and then after a few days are reduced to 'corner of bread pudding' comments and 50/50 reminders. If people were to stay on topic the subject would either progress or die a natural death due to all points being raised and discussed. I don't mind a laugh, but don't you all think that one line comments/smiley faces and father - Daughter conversations are boring?

Quite agree, all comments should be interesting, informative or comedic. I've also been guilty of inane cr@p and will avoid in future.

I know people may find it boring but also some people use it as a chat room. I know from this that people from clubs have met each other and become friends through it. I really don't see any harm as it makes the clubs have friendship with each other and that must be a good thing?

 

I saw Manor Born introduce themselves to someone the other night, I have helped brunob from ETFC and others. Yeh, I don't think its a prob.........?

That is a good thing and is to be encouraged. However, if it's to be in the public domain where everyone can see it lets just try and make it interesting to all. Even in chat rooms, participants can go off-line to a side room....Apparantly!!!
