naughty, naughty, very very naughty!

There was I thinking that butter wouldn't melt in the Townies mouths. Invading the pitch? Quelle horreur! You'd never find Romford fans doing such a thing...well not for a while anyway.

So it not like the Abbey fans waiting outside the ground, waiting for a row with Tonwer fans, and shouting abuse.

I got abuse as i was putting my brother duncan, in the car.

It was " Now F*&k off u fat [****!!****], and take mong the cripple with you ".

As people at Town know, my brother Mentally and pyshically disabled.

So i hope abbey fans are proud of your selfs, and i shall be putting in writing to Abbey Chairman about this.

That's f**king outrageous Bigboybubs. I've no doubt the decent Abbey fans will come on here and condemn such cretinous behaviour. You can be sure Duncan will get a warm welcome down at the Bowers!!!

Cheers Hookey, i will be there with my brother, and shall be sitting in the stand.

Something else that Abbey actually lacks, is seats. So i had to stand the whole game with him, and i prefer to sit in the stand, as he has dodgy pins.

If the Abbey chairman or a Director of the club sends me a private PM, With an apolgy, i will except it.

Didn't see all of the trouble, but I imagine that Abbey could be in bother for the incident at the end on the pitch.

Assuming that all of the 50 or so Abbey claimants to giving the fella a good kicking were telling the truth in the bar afterwards, I imagine he's not well at all!

It would be ironic indeed if he was connected with the Abbey 'fans' in attendance today!

Bubs, i was outside the after the game and i know for a fact that not one of the abbey boys did or even would shout any abuse at your son, we may be a bit roudy and have a few songs that you may have not liked...ie singing that you didnt have your own ground etc, but the only person that we were singing to after was the guy that ran on the picth after the and tried to attack the ref who is also the same fan who spat at 2 of our players in the tunnel. Im very surprised one of your guys has got the front to come on the forum and try to say you have never seen him before when you cant just admit the guy was well out of order and will not be allowed into an Enfield Town game again. Some of your people have got to start living in the real world, you lost fair and square now move on. If we had lost this game i can tell you there would have been no spitting and no one trying to attack the ref, id like to think most of you will come on here and condem the fan and just look forward to the return match at Brimo.

That is plum out of order. You are suggesting that Bubs is lying without any evidence. If he says that WA fans insulted his brother I believe him. I didn't see anyone spit at anybody but I believe you when it said it happened and all the ET fans that have mentioned the incident on these threads have condemned it as I am sure bubs would.

You obviously did not read bubs post. As you would have known it was his brother and not his son!

The fact that you do not condemn the abusive songs but even state that you joined in them seems to me that you are the very sort of ignorant scum that I witnessed Indeed it seems to me that you may even have joined in. Were you also one of the reprobates that intimidated a 77 year old woman by hanging around the car that they were travelling in?

Steph….

I take your point about Bubs, im sure he wouldn’t make that up, but as I said I was outside and didn’t hear a thing aimed at him or his BROTHER (sorry not son) but if that is the case then no one associated with wafc would condone that sort of behaviour and I apologise on the clubs behalf if this were true.

On the abusive songs side, I do admit there were a few songs that over stepped the mark but believe it or not its no skin of my nose, I was in the middle of all the fans behind the goal and I was one of many fans trying to stop the select few that did over step the mark, for that I apologise again.

As for one of out fans throwing something at one of your fans, I dint know anything about that so cant really comment.

But something I can comment on is the guy who decided he wanted to fight all the fans in the car park outside, but before he even got the chance to get to the car park he decided he wanted to SPIT at 2 of our players and was then ushered from the ground by an Abbey fan, I know if that was me he had spat at I would have found it very difficult to restrain myself as im sure you would have, so id like to say well done to the 2 players who managed to hold themselves from clumping the fan who in my option would have deserved everything he got!

Ok! Pax.

You will recall that I complained about the raffle before I made any complaint about crowds, referee's decisions or even the behaviour of the WA fans/players.

It is only when I read posts such as yours, (number 29), that I start to feel angry. It is when people feel angry that trouble starts and certainly in crwods can become a mob situation and then a riot.

I was angry at the raffle situation but that has been dealt with. I was angry at the crowds etc mentioned above but it was beyond my power to deal with them so I controlled my rage that is until some posters started gloating or denying what actually happened. You cannot deny evidence that you see/hear as that way you start to deny things such as the holocaust, falluja, death row, wounded knee etc which you have not seen/heard.

Now that is a good subject for debate.

Burlimey Steph, that's a tad strong no? You can hardly juxtapose a bloke expectorating at Crapershotts with the holocaust, falluja, death row, wounded knee etc, etc.

Shakespeare said,

"To thine own self be true" and it is repeated on the Conway Hall in Red Lion Square.

We are all products of our upbringing and our genes. In all of us there is a history which as "Yes" said,

"I must have waited all my life for this moment"

Ah I could go on but have to write a couple of reports today so that people from Bangladesh can come and live with their families.

C'est la vie.

Steph, I was obviously not at your game and read all the things you say WAFC are guilty of, I have also read about the ETFC fan and discusting spitting incident with the ref too. [color:"blue"] Sounds to me like it was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

Surely Enfield Town fans were not completely innocent were they?

Please ETFC fans don't have a moan at me, I am looking at it from a neutral point of view, I just see Enfield TN fans criticising WAFC without taking any responsibility for their own part in it.

You can look at it two ways. You could ask yourself what incident was the worst. Without doubt it was the 'spitting' incident.

You could also look at it another way.As the spitter(alleged ETFC fan) was the only ETFC fan to cause any trouble/intimidation/rowdiness..etc. You could say that out of 250 travelling supporters only one behaved badly.Out of Abbeys 100 supporters ,i would say at least 30 behaved badly.

But lets put it into perspective. It was minor trouble in comparison to what most of us Town fans have witnessed over the years.Small beer.

If you've had 2000 Yeovil fans running at you.Or had rocks thrown at you by a baying mob of skinheads at Altringham.Or witnessed the mass punch ups that WERE Wealdstone/Enfield games in the 80's...etc. you wouldn't even give the 30 Abbey Chavs a second glance.

I think your well over the top when you say 30, there were maybe 4/5 that stepped over the mark when it came to the singing (not one of those were violent in anyway) apparently one who threw an object at one of your fans, as I said before this is the first I heard about the throwing incident so cant really comment on that and one fan who apparently shouted abuse at Bubs' brother, I truly hope that isnt true but as Steph said he woundnt make that sort of thing up, so I have to apologise for that. There was a comment on here by someone that I read regarding the celebration of our second goal in front of your fans…..i spoke to a few of the boys who reckon that had been taking quite a bit of abuse from your fans and that was their way of getting their own back. As for the sad little dig of 'Chavs' pls grow up its very sad!

[color:"purple"]Yo Steph, Wounded Knee!! Are you referring to a bad tackle or the Sioux massacre of 1890???
