The funniest thing about last night is everybody is going on about the ref and his assitant making a major error but not going on about Roy Carroll's error that caused the problem.

How many other errors were there by the players on the pitch during the game, like a spurs defender hitting his own post, yet the ref and assistant COULD NOT have given a goal unless they were sure it had crossed the line, it would have been an error for them to have guessed that it had crossed the line.

No body alive could have run the line as quick as the ball flew from the halfway line.

A further point though should Carroll be charged with bringing the game into disrepute for conning the ref?

A further point though should Carroll be charged with bringing the game into disrepute for coning the ref? GOOD POINT AND THE ONLY POINT.

Bet Fergie was kicking a football boot about in the changing room, bet Roy Carroll caught that plus what he said to him too keep quiet.

Perhaps a moped for the lino's and ref would speed up and help them with there decision

How dare you accuse me of bringing the game into disrepute! I saved the ball in good faith. My eyes were closed at the time of the save and honestly didn't see the ball cross the line, in actual fact I thought at the time that I had recovered from a bad situation! Cough!! Honest. And Fergy did throw a boot at me at the end of the game, I ducked and it hit the Ref when he came in to pick up his brown envelope!!

"No goal, from the halfway line..." hohohohoho

Funny how that Nayim song has come back to haunt you. Lets all laugh at Tottenham.

Excellent refereeing in my opinion. Couldn't happen to a nicer, friendlier, honest team.

At least this time the incident involved spurs and not someone who left them to play at a higher level.
