Would somebody on the League Committee please come on and tell us exactly how they reached this decision when we were assured by the Essex F.A. that Kevin Harvey's suspension had ended.

Are you saying that the game will be replayed because Romford fielded an ineligible player.So why didn't the league ask Abbey to replay their game where they fielded an ineligible player earlier on in the season.?

I also remember hearing that although the EFA gave us the

nod, there was no physical evidence to back this up. Now, once again, not being furnished with all the details, this does leave things open to conjecture somewhat, when it comes to covering one's ass.

Just a thought to throw into the mix.

My under 14's at the time had an issue with a ref which was an oppenents club secertary taking charge off the game, having a go to put off the lad who was our top scorer,and sent him off, we took the matter to the Essex FA AND WON, my point is if you know you are in the right, stand firm and take the FA on, did this again over CRB checks when I wrote the FA CHARTER APPLICATION, they said every volunteer should have to have a CRBmy arguement was only those that have direct contact with the kids, they backed down again

Perhaps it would help if Romford would go public with an official view!!! We may all be getting angry over nothing????

 

Only problem, will the official view be the one the ESL and Essex FA want to hear, not what really happened.

Son, I found them to want to listen to the hard facts, have chambers and interviewing procedures, and what actually happen, like a court room. Most important signed statements backing up the stories, hope this helps or call me.

I know i'm a bit off the pace, but what happens if Romford win by more than four?

 

it would seem a bit rough if Abbey v Barkingside was replayed and Abbey won. Not much of a penalty for breaking the rules!
