Hi,

 

A review of Stonebridge Road has been added to the Grounds Tour website - www.groundstour.co.uk - after a visit for yesterday's match against Aldershot Town.

 

There are reports on over 150 UK football grounds on the site, commenting on all aspects of the matchday experience, from stadium design to atmosphere and facilities etc.

 

Most other Conference stadiums have been visited, let me know what you think of the Stonebridge Road review

Decent and fair review - the burger & drinks facilities are run by a franchise peration - not the club, and I guess that may be reviewed shortly.

Probably a fair review, it is not the greatest ground but easily not the worst. I have always enjoyed standing to watch football instead of sitting and that enjoyment is slowly going at most football grounds these days. I think the club have done their best to get the ground up to the standard required although a move to a new ground would be a something to look forward too!!!

Beware of the those pushing for the "Promised Land".....most clubs that go bust do so with the promise of a new stadium...cough cough MARGATE!

The Rec's high percentage score is confusing, with their one-inch hotdogs and not much in the way of a view from the away side. Plus the enjoyment of regular trains passing behind...

I perticurly liked the bit about the music played before the match was the same as the CD he had got in his Daily Star that morning.
