Thank you Andy

When you consider the resources available, a Conference finish of about mid-table is realistically the most you could expect from us. Andy achieved this last season, and I can't see how anybody could do any better. Since the club statement nominates Andy as the club's best ever manager, it's not difficult to worry about what the future holds for the club. Two players in charge of team affairs on Saturday means something's got to be sorted out pretty quickly, otherwise relegation could beckon. Given our abysmal run of form, we must accept this possibility. I still feel that Andy had as much chance of putting things right as anyone else. Of course, I'd be delighted to be proved wrong.

Thank you Andy for everything you've done for the club - wherever the club goes from here in the next few years, I'll never forget those brilliant away trips towards the end of the Ryman-winning season, culminating in the Bedford match - the happiest footballing day of my life.

Best of luck for the future, Andy.

I'm the opposite to Harry J Allstars - due the Roberts Junior's budding football career involving Saturday afternoon games I haven't been around this season.

What a fantastic seven seasons after a drought of success over the previous 20 or so years.

Andy Ford - legend .

Yes thanks Andy for all your efforts. I think you have done great things for us but all good things do come to an end. Lets hope we can build on your work and continue to go forward.

You have done a fantastic job at Fleet, Andy. I remember your early games - what a poor side you inherited. Where we are now - a solid Mid table conference side, averaging 1500 per game, with plans for a new ground and to go full time, is down to you as manager and Brian as chairman.

Where once I was embarressed to say that I supported Fleet, now I am proud to.

You have resigned with great dignity, and can walk away with head held high.

In fact all parties come out of this with great credit for the way it has been handled.

Hopefully you will keep in touch with Fleet, as we know you love the club, and it has been an emotional rollercoaster for the last 8 years.

As Oasis sang - don't look back in anger. There will always be a seat at Stonebridge Road for you, (or a place on the terrace).

And I have no doubt if you do grace us with your presence, you will get a huge ovation from ALL of the crowd.

Good luck with AFORD Awards, and I hope your family emjoy having a hubby and Dad back.

Cheers for everything you`ve done during the past seven years,Andy. The club is certainly in better shape now than when you arrived, and you can be immensely proud of what you have achieved here.Enjoy your family now,but if you get the urge to manage again, don`t come back to the Fleet and give us a beating!Bye,Bye old feller!
