Might just be me but I rember reading on kent online that Pennock was not going to let James go to ANY club who came in for him or at any price.

Every player has his price, especially when the club to whom he is registered is short of funds. Ade is working brilliantly to a very tight budget - getting cash for a player would enable him to bring 2 or 3 new players to his squad.

I know Ade, he is more realistic than his fans. He knows he has to balance the books ond only have players who are fully committed to the cause. If they aren't, then that is the time to offload them regardless of whether a fee is paid for them.

You have a point Gary but when you start selling your best players for any price then you must be going backwards not forwards and I am sure that Pennock does not want that to happen to Welling!
