It's not offensive or anything, good in places but very bland for the main part. That said they're not bad live.

I bought it today. Some OK songs but nothing special. I really can't understand the hype about this album. It's OK, it's average but hardly groundbreaking or something really special.

First two albums are well popular and well-loved, so the third album sells a shitload, despite being crap.

I've got the Coldplay album on at the mo. So much of it sounds like U2. Actually it's better than I thought but not sure how this sold a shed load of records.

Not a fan of modern bands at all, BUT I thought Coldplay were brilliant on Jools Holland last night.

 

Might even check their album out !
