JIMMY JACKSON LEGEND

Just a quick post to remind everyone that assuming Jimmy stays fit, keeps getting selected, doesnt get sent off and suspended, in just 7 games time on Tuesday 27 Sept at home to Forest Green Jimmy will be making his 500th appearance for the Mighty Fleet what a marvellous achievement that will be and then just five games later against Stevenage on 29th October again depending on above and a possible FA Cup Replay he will overtake Kenny Burretts 504 and become our all time leading appearnce maker and coupled with his 87 goals (4th in the all time list) surely we can rightly call him a Fleet legend.

 

Congratulations in advance on what should be a tremendous occasion in hopefully just a few weeks time

Legend is a term that gets thrown around losely. What is a legend? Without looking in the dictionary I would say it is someone who when you think of the club you think of the player, he's the first name you think of when you think back over the years. Jimmy Jackson is a legend and well done James for pointing it out.

 

He emulates everything about the club, when we have need a goal in the dying minutes he can always be seen striving to get it.

Could the club/trust get some t-shirts printed in time for the occasion?

Maybe something along the lines of 'Jacko 500+' or 'Jacko 500 not out' or just 'Jacko Legend'

I don't know how much it would cost but if you made it one size fits all and had a limited edition of say 100 I reckon they would go.

I purchase shirts and merchandise all the time, and I know that a decent quality plain t-shirt comes in at; approx £5 (printed - one colour) for a MOQ of 150pcs... I'm sure the club can shift 150 even at a small profit..?!
