coach to leyton

Thing is Chels, if the coach leaves much later, you'll miss kick off and you'll not be happy, along with everyone else who goes on the coach. It's a tricky one trying to balance the departure time so that enough people can make it and having enough time to get there.

What you have to remember Chels is that this is a team coach and has to be there a lot earlier than supporters need to be.

It may be a team coach but supporters should still be aloud on it. Do the club want our money or not. What I heard about the Tiverton game was disgusting. It has never bothered the Management or team when supporters have been on it before.

Mr Simpson was only saying the other week how the club and supporters should pull together more and then something like this divides them again.

So what you are saying is that the players should all hang around until every supporter who wants to go on the coach is ready and turn up five minutes before a game??

Think about it, we cannot afford to run a seperate coach for the supporters, there just aren't enough willing to use it, that is why we offer places to supporters on the team coach on the understanding that it will have to leave earlier to get to the game and leave that bit later after the game.

Allow me to clear up the Tiverton coach situation:

Once the draw had been made, we looked to have a dedicated supporters coach for the game. For that to be viable we had to have a minimum of 25 people booked on. Unfortunately there was not the interest, as a people had decided to make their own way or stay over for the weekend. The club coach wasn't really an option for supporters as it wasn't confirmed until a couple of days prior to the game when the coach would be leaving. There may have been an option of staying over in Tiverton prior to the game, because of the earlier kick off time. For this reason there could be no guarantee for supporters as there was no confirmed departure time. By the time this was confirmed, all people that had expressed had expressed interest had decided to go by train. All others had already decided they weren't going or were going on their own accord. It was therefore not the Club's fault, Malcolm's fault, or the supporters club fault. We had all worked together to get a solution for getting something on for supporters, unfortunately if there is not the interest, the blame cannot lay at the people who worked tirelessly to provide an initial solution.
