…and of course there’s a bit of a conundrum for the Chelmsford lads.

 

Do they come along and support their Club to the Tune of £4.00, which may well help towards a sooner rather than later return to Melbourne Park.

 

Or do they stay away therefore starving us Ricay folk of £4.00, which we would of course put straight into the “Lets thrash Chelmsford at Melbourne” project.

Believe we were subsidising it...bit of a costly exercise unfortunately....never used it myself not

being a local...

Not exactly....coaches can cost a bit to hire... and we charged only a nominal rate for it's useage.....still, a good service whilst it lasted..

Yep, it's the economics of any such operation as your own club's coach organiser could probably testify. Fine balance between numbers travelling, keeping fares low and the increasing costs of coach hire.... our 'underwritten amount' as such we'd hope to minimalise over a season.
