Reading the thread about simmons set pieces and linking well with tarkan and coming on for macca... did simmons play at right back :S :S ??

 

i would like to see simmons start tonight all tho i wont be there as im stuck in chelmsford and cant afford bus and entrance <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

after a confidece boost sat i think we can wipe the floor of maldon, 4 - 0

Once Macca went off, Tarkan moved to right back and Simmons came on and played right midfield.

 

who knows what sort of side will be played tonight, however if they play to their capabilities they should be too strong for maldon.

awww thank you barry, Johns defensive capabilties are lets say not as helpful as his attackive! possible the 2 of them start tonight then tarkan at right back simmons at right mid?

My guess is, injuries aside, that we'll start with the strongest side possible.

well...im liking to think that our u'18s could beat maldon... and im thinking ahead of the FAT game justin wouldnt want to risk any of his players picking up injuries!

 

i would lvoe to see our strongest side out there and the new players getting more and more time to settle in and bond with the team!

 

But i just think it'll be a team featuring Smith, Bourne, poole, Simmons... the "fringe" youth players that start, i hope im proved wrong!

I wouldn't say Poole and Simmons were 'fringe'. Smith may have another opportunity if Macca is injured and Bourne impressed enough last time out to suggest another bite at the cherry. Both Mustapha and Hockton need match fitness.
