Hi fellas,

 

Can someone from the club please pm me or put on here to please confirm that David Collins is on a contract . Reason being is that we are playing the Sunday team he has signed to next week and Ive seen he has played even this sunday. No contract players are allowed to play in our league so obviously i dont want my side being stitched up if he is on a contract . cheers

Actually fella you are wrong, DAVE and I are very good friends. He just lies too much mate and was having a laugh at his profile coz I know the truth. I am happy for him now tho that someone has given him the chance and at a good level as he is a good player with a wicked left foot plus he has lost a bit of weight and got himself fit again so you boys are quite lucky.

Not that we know of mate and we see him most the time for the last 10 years!!!!

It is just a cup game fella between Pro Performance and his team (old team)!!! Core!

Shouldn't really play Sundays but it is good to play with all your mates as most of us play in different teams and leagues on a Sat.

He will do well for you as long as he has a good manager that believes in him (which you lot have) and he stays fit he will produce no doubt about it.

Played Core in pre season Dave was their best player by far.

 

Without him PPFC will win easy.

Lets get it right please . Ive got utmost respect for collins finally forfilling his potential and playing well at a very good standard .

The only reason i was asking is because i dont want my team playing against a team with an inilegible player . Clearly, as everyone is saying "ive grassed him up" i was right wasnt i ??

It is nothing personal on collins at all , he is a good lad and im glad he is doing well .

dave collins at 14 used to play for a catholic utd side in div b of the southend district junior league.andy merry my team captain at whitecaps recommended one of his school mates,a defender that used to play for catholic.i went to see this game and i noticed this left inside forward name dave collins was a shoulder above the rest(the defender was s***t andy!).bearing in mind that was a div b game i invited dave to play an evening friendly against basildon utd.he came on the second half when we were already winning 4-0 and showed some good touches without scoring(6-0 final result and he played left winger in a experimental ajax sistem 3-3-3-1).i asked dave if he fancied playing for us but he said was going back to ireland with his dad.two years later,just to show that we live in a small world,i meet him again at sufc playing for the u'16s.i was really pleased that a pro club had taken him on board but didn't last that long because of his love for the double cheese burgers,thing that didn't go down well with peter trevivian.next he was playing for gwr reserves scoring goals and making some first team appearances under alan hull.he went to grays with the sacked score manager craig edwards and played some first team games for them but never really got a proper chance being more a fringe or reserves player.we played grays reserves in march this year losing 1-0 and hitting the woodwork no less than five times!!and he joined them in the warm-up but didn't play???next we heard from his cousin gavin maloney(one of my older son best class mates)that he was on contract at grays and on loan at big strugglers redbridge utd.new manager comes in and he joins another struggling side billericay town with 11 first team players out injured.credit to him has played well in the 2-3 games he was involved in a left wide mid role.now that the chips are down is make or break for the little fella and no more lies to his mates because he is running out of them and they are not stupid.wish him well and i believe he is a non-contract player.if i was MIMM i wouldn't worry too much,Flanders can put him in the pocket.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
