Steven Reading, Defender, Captain: a player who has show that he is more than capable of holding his own at this level, 2 good feet and superb in the air, he is a valuable member of the team and since taking over the arm band has not dissapointed, grows in stature with every game.

 

What a load of BOLLOX

Superb in the air? he lost every header to Billy Drake who is 5ft 0!

Capable of holding his own at this Level? he was the crappest defender ive seen this season.

Growing in stature with every game? he must of been total [****!!****] in all the other games this season.

 

Cant take banter, dirty [****!!****], crapp player, disgrace to the game, and he took the pee out of me hair do.

 

I know that this sounds nasty but i was happy when he went down. That was probably the loudest cheer of the game.

What you didn't like is he whacked Billy Drake who's a dirty [****!!****]. He stood in the bar for about 30mins after the game. If you had a problem you should have gone and told him and his old man. I'm sure they would have obliged.

Not his best game by far, very passionate boy, could easily have walked ( as could a few others )

 

Took some stick and gave a bit back, but in that situation there will only be one winner i'm afraid and that's the crowd.

 

Still, a much preferred venue to Tilbury on a cold and rainy midweek, great hospitality and despite a loss went home very happy and contented.

IMO an absolute mug and if I remember correctly tried to give it large in the other game. EMFC for your info he was one of the last players to enter the clubhouse and went straight into the restaurant area for players and officials and was there for at least 15-20 minutes.Wanted to discuss the finer points of the game with him but gave up

Fair enough Teepee but if some of the others on here had such a problem with him they should have brought it up with him in the clubhouse not hide on this forum slagging him off. At least you tried to talk to him.

maybe they thought it was matthew kelly or more judging by that performance julian clarey maybe the armband might return to the mighty yet. told steve hes got a lot to learn if he wants to take over from quinny as captain. nah on a serious note he has been one of our better players this season and is a very good geezer.(well i like him anyway even if i am the only one)
