Massive rumour doing the rounds at Redbridge is that the ex Motormen duo, Edwards and Lynch who are being forced out of Chelmsford City FC are set to join Margate as manager and assistant manager.

Hmmmm interesting. Ive got a lot of respect for Edwards as a manager. As you say it is only rumours though unless you would like to expand further. Wouldnt want to jeapordise anything though. Interesting though because caretaker manager Trott wants the situation resolved before the end of the season so this could signal an announcement in the next few days............possibly.

No disrespect but i would not like to see Edwards and Lynch in the managerial post as look at what has happened to Redbridge over the last 2 seasons.

This was largely due to Jim "yesman" Stannard. Edwards in my opinion is a fantastic manager, and we would still be in the Conference South had he not left.

I think that is unfair as I dont think they have been there in the last 2 seasons.

Wouldn't be unhappy with that. Edwards has plenty of Ryman experience and contacts. Although he is leaving Chelmsford under a bit of a cloud what with the Essex Senior Cup 'riot'. We would certainly have the hardest boss in the league!
