For anyone who hasn't been there recently, they have now demolished the small covered area behind the goal (at the social club end) and have replaced it with a very good concrete open terrace (similar to Canvey's, but it runs the whole length behind the goal and has fewer steps.

The other end - it was a buidling site last season - no whas half a terrace, which is quite deep - again very similar to Canvey.

I was told yesterday by their owner that the capacity is now 4,000 and they intend to raise it to 5,500 if they get into the league.

Downside is that there are no refreshemnts facilities at the social club end of the ground.

Sorry to have to say this, but the pitch was bumpy and had bare patches on it.

I have been to Grays three times this season and have yet to see them win - in all three games they scored first and then threw away their lead.

I appear to be a bit of a jinx on them - should I go to the play-off?

Would anyone like to sponsor me for the Trophy final as well?

My three matches to date-

v Stevenage - two up, coasting, back to 2-2 and then they missed an open goal.

Hereford - two up, coasting, back to 2-2 and then they missed an open goal.

Morecambe - one up, coasting, and then found themselves 2-1 down.
