Ryman League

Suprised we have gone in so high but if we can afford it great, there`s going to be some cracking games with a lot of potential for big gates.

Looking forward to the fixtures being released, would it be greedy to hope for Billericay at Christmas

Well done again to the people working behind the scenes to get our club back on it`s feet

Its certainly cheered me up seeing we are back in the Ryman. I was dreading going into Division 1 north or even worse the ESL.

Theres a lot of familar grounds to go to as well as some new ones.

At least for the AFC Wimbledon home game we will get a decent crowd. The Chelmsford game should also be interesting. Expect Jeff will have his minders out in full force that day.

oh the ricky game is back, hoorah

im assuming Chelmsford will walk the league with the ex canvey players but one can hope that we take points off them, will be fantastic to see canvey win with a bigger crowd than ever to watch it.

i recon we could have the second biggest crowd in the league, (im assuming the Wimbledon still have a massive following)

You’re average attendance in the conference would not even get you the second highest average att in the RPL as Chelmo’s average finishing mid table and playing half the season at the hallowed turf of New Lodge had a n average att of 836. Margate on a season were they flirted with relegation averaged 690. AFC average 2,706. Billericay are the 5ht best supported with 536 .

What sort of att you get will of course depend on what sort of product you provide on the pitch which again we will depend on what you can do in terms of strengthening you’re reserve side which again depends on what sort of sponsorship deal(s) you can get

Couldn't agree more. You've done a fantastic job in such a short space of time. If the previous management team had put this amount of enthusiasm into courting the fanbase, the present situation might never have arisen.

Some people get their reward in heaven. You lads who have worked so hard over the past few weeks will get yours... in the Ryman League

Big question is can we generate enough revenue to compete in the Ryman Premier League

Without doubt we will need to strengthen the Squad quite alot if we want to stay in the Premier..

I bet Jeff is not happy he will be facing us next season!!

Where do AFC Wimbledon play again?

I think they play at Kingstonians ground - Kingsmeadow or something.

I think AFC Wimbledon now own the ground and Kingstonian pay to groundshare.

I have a feeling you are correct - I saw them on a program the other evening and the narrator mentioned they had bought a new ground.

Can't wait for next season - plenty of good sides and some new grounds to visit.

I think it's going to be a steep learning curve for the players and management but I'm sure their enthusiasm and commitment to the club will see us put up a worthy fight.

There's a certain amount of relief that one of the main questions has now been answered. Ther's still a long way to go but there is certainly an underlying feel good factor about the club. Let's rise to the occassion!!

Again - I'd like to reiterate my thanks to all those guys working extremely hard in the background to make all this work.

Brilliant news. The AFC Wimbledon and Billericay games should draw good crowds and we have decent trips to Margate and Ramsgate to look forward to. Then of course there's Chelmsford!!!

Horsham and Walton & Hersham are places I haven't been to for a long, long time!

Don't recall us ever playing Tonbridge or Ashford, (or AFC Wimbledon for that matter).
