well we would perhaps have liked to think so mate but sadly they have.....all things change and some ride with changes which are inevitable and move on and some get left behind with only bitterness....

 

there is a rift here which my gut instinct tells me will not be mended.....

 

I am very sad tonight...we all should be as our wonderful football club has been brought into disrespect on these forums by all of us..the very people that are supposed to and profess to protect it...

 

JL resigned and it should have been left there...

I have tried to analyse this whole affair seriously. (I am often accused by family of being too serious!)

 

JLo obviously had a conversation with the Club and departed. Only JLo and the Club know what was said. The Club is telling us that JLo's departure was a complete surprise. I trust the Club's Management.

 

However ....

 

If it transpires there were some shenanigans it will seriously affect the respect I have for the Club and I may well vote with my feet and go back to watch the Boro as I used to some thirty years ago.

 

I do think the Club deserve our trust until it is proved that the trust is misplaced.

he didn't have a conversation with anyone sid...he just resigned and left whilst we were all enjoying the saturday of the presentation..there were no reasons...no letters....no conversations...no chance to discuss matters...I was told an hour after he had gone....

and ignorance of what really goes on...

 

it would be true to say that the real goings on behind the scenes of any business are the concern of the elected officials and not anyone else....

 

did you know that he said that she said that I said that you said that a guy in the pub said..............

Absolutely. Fortunately I work from home so I have been on and off here all day. I have read all the posts and I cannot for the life of me understand what the "unhappy" people hope to gain by continuing the debate. And it is only a "debate" because the Club choose to make it so. The Club cannot wave a magic wand and bring JLo back. So what is their "endgame"? What will make them "happy" again? I have asked this question several times today and have had no takers.

I cannot give you an answer sid...perhaps it would make them happy if we left the club and they took it over...

 

if we ignore the small matter of ownership.....(seems not to be an isue here lenin style... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />) it would then boil down to about a grand a week subsidy required just to stay in the ryman one....

 

no problem I hear the boys cry...
