yup it was eugene...little bugger sneaked in and nicked it in the last 5 ....very good player...

then of course there was the famous penultimate game to the ryman one at marlow one tuesday night...we had to win to take the championship into the last game and I had all the northwood players sitting close by cheering marlowe....

they were very silent when we went 3 up and then got real gobby when it went to 3-2 but we held on...there was a nutter in the home crowd singing 'shuppa marla'....

maxie got pissed that night and nicked the ball during play and had a little juggle up on the touchline and gav got sent off and booted all the water bottles up in the air...

great burgers...

Yeh you're right, just after me first op, I've had 3 since, GB was there as well so they tell me.
Another great night, but that slope!

george borg, alan devonshire, gary calder, colin lypiatt, steve brown and choulsey of course....was like a 'ryman pieman' night out..

and then wivenhoe on easter monday...that was the first showing of the now famous travelling red and white army in the glorious sunshine and taffy scored a hat trick and ran over to me with two fingers up and said

'stuff that up yur ar*e you fat clunt'..

I was most upset until he explained to me afterwards that he was talking to peter butcher...
