Website suggestion.........

This is probably going to sound a bit "blonde" but any chance of the website now having a link to this forum - Jeff has now gone and quite a few of those people driving the club forward post on this forum - so there shouldn't be any objections, should there?

Yeah, I think we should have the address for this site on the bottom of any advertising we produce, underneath the official site url.

There`s not many clubs with offical forums and those that do are normally boring and heavily moderated. Some (but not many) clubs have links to unoffical forums with the usual disclaimer "The views on this forum blah blah blah......." so maybe we could do that.

 

I think it`s fine the way it is, if anyone needs to find the forum all you need to do is type "Canvey Island FC forum" into Google and there it is.

I appreciate it's easy for us to find but I don't think it would hurt to add the link to our website - if thats possible.

 

It just increases awareness to other people/fans and any opportunity to advertise the club or it's fans should be grasped.

Webmaster needs to correct the link for the new news article. I gather it's a picture, but it links straight back to the main page.

Unfortunately, that has been one of the main reasons for this forum not to be linked on the website.

 

BTW, if anyone else has any other website ideas please let me know and I can put them forward.

What about a supporters club forum!!

 

 

Locked and only open to members of the supporters club!! Access could be via membership number issued by the club

 

That way we could ensure a certain level of decency!!

I would miss you and a few others, but we could still use this site, it would stop some of the stuff that is going on at the moment.

Sometimes people get confused about what a bit of banter is!!

there have been some silly posts of recent,some of which i am guilty but the majority is just banter,however every now and then people do cross the line,usually drink fueled.

Those people in the light of day tend to know when they are wrong and apologise,others don't as we find out tonight
