Great reslut and a good performance. Would you believe it we actually played better in the first half. Our third goal is a candidate for bravest goal of the season. Crace in a one on one with a very big keeper and in scoring he did get hurt. Fina goal should have been a pen but this ref clearly doesn't like giving pens as we a few very good shouts turned down as did Ware. ythe foul was in the area but the ref gave a free kick. Up got Rudi and treated like a pen but with a wall and rifled it into the top corner. We played the game wide, maijly on the ground and it all looked good. Let's hope we can keep this up for Tuesday.

John, Allen, Magona, Gant, Tickner, Campbell, Velandia, Hall, Crace, Hammatt, Nyman, Mackey, Ritchie, Hughes, Spinks (Darren), Harrison.

0 – 4.

Gate price £6 which was very nice!

Town had something to prove after last weekend’s poor show and so it was a good performance with a nice result (if you are a town fan). Town start the pressure from the off with Simon Tickner heading just wide from a corner. Town won a free-kick on the edge of the box and Steve Velandia fired an inch perfect free-kick in the top corner for Anstead to make an equally inspired scoop save. How the heck did the old chap in goal do that wow? Second free-kick was Rudi’s turn on 14 minutes round the wall and beat the keeper with what looked a saveable ball. 0 – 1. Town fans erupt with pure delight! Andy Crawford was extremely lucky not to walk for a punch on Ricci Crace. Both were booked. On 38 minutes Ricci Crace gets to the touchline and then loses his defender with some inspired play for Dean Nyman to tap home in a mêlée of players. Cue Deano celebration of pure delight. Paul Campbell injured.

Second half Niall Ritchie on for Paul Campbell. Niall initially looked short of match fitness but improved as the game went on. A Ricci Crace header was fingertip over the bar by Anstead. Steve Magona off and Darren Spinks on. On 75 minute Ricci Crace in a one on one with Anstead and manages to loop a header against his old club and into the net. In the 50:50 ball Crace was knocked out cold. Amazing Crace what guts for a goal 0 -3. Dean Nyman made a lovely run for the keeper to dive at his feet and save. Steve Velandia shot wide. Hammat off and James Mackey on. On 90 minute town won a free kick instead of a rightful penalty/ Rudi stepped up for the free kick – top far corner with the venom of a cobra. Jeepers what a goal! Town have so many options from set pieces with Velandia and Hall awesome at the moment. Whistle! 0 – 4. And yes the score line was a fair reflection on the game. Now let’s bottle this performance and get some consistency.

I don't know where you got the idea that AFC Sudbury drew, they won 3-1 away in the FA Cup.
They are in 5th spot and you are in sixth!

Sorry yes Bury Town drew! We still went 4th no matter how briefly! I wonder if Ware struggled a bit with the result (like we did last week)? It appears to be the only result not sent in yet on here and therefore the table is yet to be revised.

There also seems to be a c*ck-up with the Abbey attendence on the Ryman site.286? I don't think so. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I reckon that was the gate for our game.

Great performance from The Towners at Ware. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

Now that we have established what the best team is ( from those currently available ) AND the way for them to play.....

can we PLEASE have a repeat performance on Tuesday.

Football played on the deck...attacking the Redbridge defence. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

I can't see an Alan Fenn side being so generous at the back. We'll be hard pressed to break Redbridge down, I fear. Still, confidence should be higher.

Yer, I am sure you are right, BUT Redbridge have not set the world alight with their away form. A 2-0 loss and 2 x 0 - 0 draws.
So, no goals scored in 3 games.
These are games that Town HAVE to win ! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

Well, Jim seems well up for it now. The lads are clearly up for it and seem right behind Jim and the formation is much better. Let's all get down there tonight, create some noise and take the three points on offer.

Oh, Enfield Paul, please stay away fella!!!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
