The way we have been playing recently i think you might have to pay that £20...
But hopefully RT will get the message..NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

But apart from one or two 90 minute blips last season (Bashley and Walton Casuals), we didn't really have a bad spell. In fact Ramsgate haven't had one for a good two years <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Haven't you lost 3 games in a row this season?

So what's gone wrong in bluenose land then? You began so well. Players out of form? Manager Ok when you're winning but (liek Bob Harrop) unable to cope when things start going wrong?

We did have a three game losing streak but Jim Ward is a good manager and we never panicked. Trott seems to me to be lacking sophistication in his man management.

I do actually think you should still finish above us but now there is a good chance that we'll be above you. When you look at your squad that shouldn't be happening. And as we all agreed the FA Cup draw couldn't have been kinder to Margate so there can be no excuses.

Blip or crisis?

I should have expected this response. I'd sponsor you to take a one-way walk to Land's End, as long as you promise not to come back.

Yes, Jim and Danny are a great partnership. Who cares who does what when it works? We don't have debates about Trott in/Trott out/why do we have the second highest wage bill but no team spirit, why can't we beat teams from lower leagues, why can't we keep players on the pitch blah blah blah.

Three things then.

Ramsgate 4 Worthing 3

Billericay 3 Margate 2

Ramsgate 3rd Margate 11th.

Just keep doing what you're doing. It's great.

I thought you asked some valid questions there LC, maybe some of the slightly less helpful stuff you have posted in the past prompted the responses above. And JJ is dead easy to wind up anyway.

In answer to your questions, it seems that there is a pattern emerging here, in that RT keeps falling out with people - although I stress often alledgedly - and is suffering his first bad Trott as manager - I'll get my coat - and does not seem to be getting the best out of a good squad. its times like this when you need a good assisstant - like the Rams clearly have, and as you say who cares who wears the trousers if the results are right? Flanagan is a big name but wonder how he and RT are gelling.

You can't hide behind abusing fans from other nearby clubs, blaming referees, etc etc etc. Fact is we are on a terrible run which seems to show no signs of abating. Some fans want RT out, which is clearly ridiculous, but there is obviously something wrong. Maybe just one good win will get us going again.

Agree with whoever above who said Rams are using their momentum and a settled management team/group of players well. probably a reality check to come, but I think them and Blues could end up pretty adjacent in middle of league.

Having said all that, Mr Butler, Ian / Alex Mc ferguson are both clowns !!!!!

Trott is a rookie manager and is going to make mistakes. I think we have to accept that. As regards falling out with people, those of us who are not privy to what goes on in the dressing room can't really comment. (However, that won't stop me pontificating!) Perhaps he is trying too hard to distance himself from the players and be the 'hard man'. We all have egos and some players need an arm put around them sometimes.
