Ahhhhh, the excitement of Non League footie, especially when your oppo has two grounds to play their games on, on of which is their chosen ground (which is Aylesbury Vale and some reports - true or not true - Mr & Mrs Farmer have flooded by opening some flood gates to drain their fields), was under a couple of feet water in places...

 

And another, where your oppo ground shares due to their present choice of ground not being up to the grading of the league football they play but they don't play their cup games here, they prefer to play at Aylesbury Vale (for the reason that they are Aylesbury and they want to play in Aylesbury - but as all ready said, under a couple of feet of water).

 

It took me all Sunday to get my head around this one.

 

Looking at the weather for the next week, we're in for some heavy showers...

 

Where will this game be played? More to the point, when will this game be played?

 

Tonight?

According to the Aylesbury forum, the dugout side is under 5 feet of water??

I've just looked at the ground on Google Earth. Should this game be on - I would suggest everyone takes coats, umbrella etc because provided the aerial picture is reasonably current they don't have a lot of cover.

 

It's also very close to a river, so hopes aren't high for this being on.
