WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE

Recommended Posts

As I wasn't confident of remaining near the top till Xmas, I must say that my confidence of staying top is not too great...

Having said that the longer we remain their the more confident I am. It takes some getting used to and currently I have to keep checking I not really in the middle of some dream.

But I'm gonna make the most of it while it lasts.

I notice ST ALBANS have gone really DEAFENINGLY QUITE!!!

Happy New Year Mr Zeal!

December the 21st ? What happened then, my memory fails...Wasn't that some date near Xmas last year now, must oh lost the memory brain cells for that date due to festive overindulegence?

On the match front games called off till Feb would be great, imagine Aldershot top in Feb! Wouldn't that give us all a warm glow inside!

where are you in the pyramid now Enfield Town???

Were coming down to Boring Wood on Saturday where the old Enfield FC play. Went last season and the place was completely quiet, what exactly happened when all your fans just turned away????

Were not going down to play Enfield FC though. Were going to make sure Boring Wood FC continue being Bored, cause they wont score!

Anyway, were gonna 'dick' Aldershot at their place pretty soon and show them who really is the big club in this division of ours. They will probably still win the league but I think top 5 for us is not out of the question. If the season started 15 games ago when our new manager took over we would currently be top 2 points ahead of both Aldershot and Poofleet. And it will be nice to outsing the shots at their place just as we did last term....

they arent on the most magnificent form at the moment so i think we will win that, and hopefully 4-0 revenge from last season's game at their place. That way, they can take back the stick i got from 1 Aldershot fan, who decided to take the piss out of my Bedford Shirt, because of our sponsors at the time were ASDA. he decided that Sainsburys would look better, and did the [****!!****] sign at me as i was leaving the ground!

Funny form league...The only form league that should matter is all teams last 15 games, so why are some on less ?

Plus the only table that counts is the league table. Looks like we might manage to remain top till Feb!

I don't think you'll win at the Rec this year, though we're not in the best of form at current time. I think that's why we slipped up over the festive period against St Albans, who hardly ever beat us.

All I am saying is that from the date our ex international took over at Bedford the above league is accurate and will hopefully give you an indication of what we are now all about. I think our top 5 finish depends on us getting at least 5 points from the big 3 away games (Aldershot, St Albans & Canvey) I know we are capable of 9 points but I also know we are capable of 0 points aswell! so 5 would be about good enough and having already got 6 points out of those same home fixtures it looks like it may be a go'er.
