Fisher in trouble

Recommended Posts

Fisher manager Justin Edinburgh and his assistant Jim Dack have departed Fisher Athletic by mutual consent.

Due to a change in policy and direction implemented by the Fisher board, the club is looking to consolidate our present position in the Nationwide Conference South.

New budget restrictions are to be implemented shortly to ensure that the club remain financially viable going forward.

The board would like to take this opportunity to emphasise that our position is unchanged to securing a permanent home for Fisher and that significant progress is being made to that end.

The Fisher board feel that for the club to flourish long term a new stadium must be secured. This is the clubs number one priority at the present time and will inevitably lead to budget restrictions on the playing staff going forward.

We thank Justin Edinburgh and Jim Dack for their efforts over the past year and wish them every success in the future.

* Some quality, if expensive, players at Fisher. I wonder if we'll be looking to pick anyone up?

Just look back to Page 1 of this forum (May 2004) We were waiting for news on the ground and Jay had just joined Gravesend.

We have had a rollercoaster of a time and hope downs will end soon.

The team is delivering now up to the Council.

Quote from a local Tory Councillor

"Don't be too hard on Ezekiel he cant help it he has no people skills"

Need I say more
