an even game I thought, and worth a draw. Concord were better individually but Manor were more of a team, imho.

I thought that the Manor goal had gone in direct from the free kick but was too far away. Concord looked dangerous from corners and the Trenkel goal was class. I expected more in the way of goals from the Heale/Greaves partnership, I suppose. The Manor keeper made a blinding save in the first half too.

Concord should have taken the lead on the stroke of half time but the player did not realise how much time he had and snatched at the opportunity.

In the second half Manor also had chances but failed to take them. I liked the verbals from the Concord keeper.

The Concord manager is a bit of a cabaret act too, highly amusing!

BTW I was standing in the shed behind the goal, should anyone be interested.

No bacon roll survey took place but the cornish pasty would have done better with another 20 seconds in the microwave.

Oh do I remember them days. My missus saying before I left for the game: What time are you coming home tonight dear will it be a)after 90 mins b)120 mins extra time c)whenit gets dark cause the floodlights won't work. I would say depends what the score is when it gets dark.

I was about 500 yards from the Stadio Communale Hullbridge at about lunchtime (in the local farm shop)when the heavens absolutley openened. I said to my missus, coachie is going to have alot of pasta to get rid of cause this lot has probably just wiped out his afternoon's football.

yeah, but how many of those pitches now are only mudbaths?most of them, haven't got ressies,u'18s or u'16s games on them..if our groundsman would have allowed us to play on that waterlogged pitch,we would have ended up like bowers!no home games till easter!

Have to agree with you Coach. On our way to our game at London APSA we passed a game being played on a park pitch, they were trying to hoof a ball out of what looked like a bog would you pay to watch that coup.
