in the second half today...must be said we were struggling in the first half and although their goal was an 'ownie' courtesy of us fckn around instead of booting it out first time....they probably 'just' deserved their half time lead...

urchins second half were different class and the players management and fans pushed forwards and ever onwards smelling blood and there was only ever going to be one winner...well done the whole team...

nice visitors as well and welcome back at the stadium anytime...noisy fckers an' all until we turned the screw...well done and good luck to them and I sincerely hope that their injured player is okay...

Unc - is there any news on the player who was taken off? I heard it was a possible broken ankle - not too sure, I think it was their number four.

deffo not according to the three physios that attended him in our physios clinic...his dad has taken him to hospital to make sure and nett played nursey and held his hand for a while....

I think that hardened him up a little...

A bizarre performance that saw us struggle to gain momentum in the first half against a side that played a nice style of football. For me the game turned when Dale made that point blank save in the first half.

Whatever our manager said at half time worked, as did the substitution with Ainsley suddenly hitting form.

3 points in the bag.

Re the number 4, he was involved in a very tasty 50/50 and I had a feeling that he would not rise from that tackle. I would like to send him my best wishes for a full recovery.
