Build up to Horsham + predictions

No Carl Rook available to the "Hornets".They have scored at least one goal in every one of their last 9 home games but only once have they not conceded a goal or more in those games. My prediction is for a 2-1 or 3-2 victory down there though the stats show a draw is more likely(1-1,2-2),but am trying to be optimistic with this one. att.550

Somehow i don't think you need instruction <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hopefully your team will be fully fit and up and running on Saturday. I've said before you only need to cut out their 8 & 9 Taylor is very fast and can make it happen, but he may be with another club by Saturday. Oh, and there is Darlington to contend with. They have many injuries so now is the time for the bigger score.

When you take a step back and reflect-our first team have all played very recently at conference national level-and Horsham were last season in Ryman 2.

3 divisions apart; yet we are gong there hoping to get a draw !!

I agree a draw would be a decent result, but logicaly we are still seriously under-performing.

Unfortunately, logic does not win matches ,but team effort, consistency and concentration does

Before the last game v Staines the team had performed admirally. The best football & I mean FOOTBALL we have seen this season in fact for a long time.I think if we forgive & try & forget that reversal,we should be thankful that they are giving out some fine attractive football & are definately NOT under-achieving.

Michael, we get on well I think & I respect your in depth detailed style of posting but sometimes you do see the downward side of things a bit too often.

I hope this dosent spoil our friendsghip here but I couldnt let that post go without backing the team on recent "sparkling" displays. Under-achieving?,sorry,cant go with that.

If losing that game v Staines is under-achieving then yes you are correct but taking all into consideration & the indifferent start(though really not so indifferent if you look back at results)we have had,I think the team are doing great for themselves the club & for us.

As I have said previously though & this is where I am in agreement with you, there IS still some improvement to be had. Just imagine how good we really would be then, if we got THAT improvement. But as it is I think they are doing us proud.
