Local Derby in doubt?

Concerns have been raised as to whether the local derby between Margate and Ramsgate will be able to go ahead at Southwood. It has developed after the Borehamwood match when St Johns Ambulance volunteers had to treat several supporters who sustained breathimg problems. An ambulance spokesman stated, "We have put the problem down to the lack of atmosphere at the ground. Luckily there was no lasting effect on the fans, all from Borehamwood, who once removed from the ground made a quick recovery. We have have looked into the matter and believe that we can overcome the problem. Due to the expected vast Margate support we believe that the atmosphere that they will bring will hopefully spread to the Ramsgate end and enable the Ramsgate fans to enjoy the match in more comfortable conditions." Meanwhile Ramsgate supporters have been asked to arrive early on the day to assist in the removal of the tumbleweeds around the ground which have accumulated over the last few months.
