CANCELLED - Race Night - Sat 7th May

A race night has been arranged for Saturday 7th May at the Stag & Hounds.

 

It will start at 7:30pm.

 

Horses will be on sale for £5 each as of Saturday so plenty of time to get one.

To anyone that's never been to one of these...make that extra effort to turn up. It's a good laugh and makes alot of money for the supporters club which in turn will help the supporters club make Stag Meadow better.

Why is it being held at the Stag and not at the club?

We hold them at the Stag because they have a very good computerised system for running these events.

 

Having this we do not have to pay to order films, projects and tickets.

 

It also means that we can all enjoy the evening propely as the landlord deals with all the bets rather than having to find 6 people to run a tote.

 

We have almos doubled what we would normally take over at the club and are also getting more people involved than we would normally.

 

Once we have raised the money we need and finished sorting the club house then we can think about moving the events back to the club.

We get the odd 'mental' at the pub who puts alot of money into it which we'd otherwise not get. And it's a rasing the profile of the club in the town
