The Season So Far....

Recommended Posts

I made a post in SLeB thread back in the close season that usually by the end of October you have a pretty good feel to who is going to there or thereabouts at the end of the season. Unfortunately I made a quip about not so last year as team that was top then (Div 1) finished in mid table mediocraty... lets hope that doesn't happen again or major egg on your face time!!

Anyway below are the 'real'(Points per games played) league tables as we currently sit. So who is over / under achieving etc?

Not going to bite on that Buryballer, other than to say, which of the teams above us do you think are paying less?

You really have far too much time on your hands NF!

And we're not at the end of November yet, so me thinks you've jumped the gun with your enthusiasm a little bit!

I personally think the end of November will deliver a better understanding, however, let me just point out that SLB has never been in front at Christmas time in the last two seasons, yet both seasons we were Champions! Beware ...

You can download the League tables in Excel format from Mitoo so it took about 5 mins in total!

Not really jumping the gun as if you read my original post it was regarding a comment I made pre season that end of October is usually a good indicator (not set in stone) of who is going to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

Edgware were the best team in the league last year by a good distance, this year its much more open!!

A lot of the sides are around the same standard!

Any 1 of Harefield, Beaconsfield, Bigg Town, Brimmo, Hertford or Chalfont could win it, I'd make Bigg Town favourites!!
